BookTravelIndia's travel booking market is highly fragmented. Travelers had to visit multiple websites and apps to compare bus tickets and hotel prices across providers, while smaller operators lacked any digital presence. The platform needed real-time availability, secure multi-gateway payments, and the headroom to handle 10,000+ concurrent users during peak travel seasons.
We designed and built a comprehensive full-stack booking platform that unifies six travel providers into a single, seamless search-to-booking experience — spanning a Next.js web app and native iOS and Android apps, backed by a FastAPI microservices architecture with Elasticsearch-powered search and a unified third-party integration layer.
